We are active in the Tree Care Community

Our Tree and Landscape Professional Memberships:

The Massachusetts Arborists Association is a group of Tree Services and Industry Suppliers that are dedicated to the advancement of tree care in our state and beyond. The trees and forests of Massachusetts have benefited from the efforts of this organization since the 1930's: We are pleased to be part of the tradition.

We also belong to the Tree Care Industry Association. This group was originally founded as the National Arborists Association, in 1938. However, they later changed their name to clearly express to the public what they are all about - Tree Care. Unfortunately, as an industry, we haven't done a good job educating the general public, with the result that many people still ask, "What is an arborist?"  The answer: a tree care professional, generally holding a certification, and trained in the proper practices in tree maintenance and plant health care.

The Massachusetts Tree Wardens and Foresters Association was established in 1913 and is one of the oldest tree protective organizations in the United States.

The MTWFA is comprised of a variety of plant enthusiasts, including municipal foresters, tree wardens, commercial arborists and tree advocates.

The goal of the Massachusetts Tree Wardens and Foresters is to preserve our urban forests for the next generation; to this end they focus on training and education and allocation of funds for tree preservation.
